A couple more teeth

Jordan started getting his bottom molars. When they first started coming up I was kind of mortified by it. I don't know what I expected because there's no other way for them to get there but I definitely didn't realize that they just push up and shred through the gums. They were all bloody with pieces of gums stuck to the top of them. You can see a little gore on that left one still. Poor baby.

I guess he likes mangos.

I can't tell though.

Visit from Cousin Javin

Jordan's cousin, Javin, came to visit one weekend. They had fun playing at the park in the neighborhood. Javin loved the playground and Jordan loved the wood chips...and all the stuff that was hidden in the wood chips.

They had fun sharing toys. *eyeroll* Okay, I did have to break up a couple wrestling matches. They'll get the idea one day, though. Right?

One thing they did get along doing together was turning the Xbox on and off.

Smart boy

I "heard" Jordan being quiet one morning and went to investigate...he was just getting a fix of "Goodnight Moon" before we headed up to Grandpa's house.

Cleaning the church

Our family got assigned to help clean the church during April. Jordan loved helping out.

More Yard Work

Jordan helped me pull some weeds today. He loved the dandelions. Good thing they're taking over our yard. He wouldn't drop the handful he had to get more. By the time we were done his hands were stained yellow and he had little yellow spots all over his shorts.

We cleaned up with the hose and then a bath.

Jordan loves being naked and always fights me to get dressed after a bath. Today he figured out how to hide. Every time I said "let's put on your jammies" he would go behind the rocking chair and peek out until I talked about his jammies again.

He was a tired boy after his busy day, though and fell asleep without a story, but he was able to hold on to his hair brush.

Jordan's 1st Birthday

We got the fam together for a little celebration...

Here's Jordan's cousin, Javin. He was excited for all the presents.

When it was time to blow out his candle, Jordan just stared for a minute and then found something better to do. So we tried to get his cousin to help him out but he wasn't interested either.

Jordan Playing Basketball

He gets so excited chasing a basketball around the house. And it's so hilarious because the ball is so big, but he doesn't even care.

Jordan - 11 months

Jordan got to go outside for the first time this year at the beginning of March. He found himself a rock and wouldn't let it go.

{ 3.11.12 }

I've caught him copying what I say a few times. I've heard "what" and "ca-ca".

{ 3.12.12 }

He's such a smart boy. I'm amazed at the things he picks up just watching us. I shut the garage door and apparently he wanted it back open. So he stood up and grabbed the door knob to open it himself.

{ 3.19.12 }

Jordan finally started walking on his own.

{ 3.23.12 }

Here he is playing with my little sister's rat-dog. He would get mad every time the dog would play with anything he wanted to play with.

{ 3.29.12 }

I was talking on the phone one day and Jordan was whining at me so I handed him a fortune cookie from Panda Express to play with. I don't let him have sweets at all, but usually he just gnaws on it and smashes it up in the wrapper. Well, I got done with my phone call and found he had gotten the wrapper open and eaten the whole cookie, including half of the fortune. #momfail

{ 3.30.12 }

He loves throwing things and throws everything he gets his hands on.

My sweet boy is getting so big.

Jordan - 10 Months

Jordan loves climbing up and down the stairs.

 { 2.6.12 }

He likes to walk up and down the stairs like a big person, too. We'll hold his hands and he'll take one step with each foot.

He learned to click his tongue.

His hair will only grow in the back....I styled it for him.

{ 2.11.11 }

Here he is visiting Grandpa Jim at his boat show.

{ 2.11.11 }

When he's up on the couch with us, he climbs back and forth across the whole couch. He love climbing on everything.

Jordan figured out how to arch his back and put his arms up so he slides through your hands when he doesn't want to be held.

He has to put his feet up on whatever is in front of him when he eats.

{ 2.14.12 }

He loves chewing on hoodie strings.

{ 2.20.12 }

He learned how to scrunch his nose.

{ 2.25.12 }

Started taking one or two steps on his own between the furniture.

{ 3.5.12 }

He finally got his 4th tooth on the bottom, so now he has all his front eight teeth.
